Maartje, who entered the modeling business at the age of 13, can be proud of her great successes today. She has not only graced Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar and many other magazines many times, but has already walked almost 500 shows at the age of 24. She has also worked with many renowned brands, such as Chanel, Valentinto or Isabel Marant.
However, 13-year-old Maartje never expected that she would take off like this. She actually only wanted to help out a photographer friend whose model was ill. But this photographer happened to be an acquaintance of Micha's and forwarded her the photos - and that's how the story took its course.
Although Maartje's career then took off, Maartje always remained herself. She always sticks to her principles and stands up for what is important to her. These include, for example, justice among people and sustainability in the fashion industry.
When she is not modeling, Maartje also loves to play sports or cook. She also enjoys spending her time training for a half marathon.
Although Maartje is always very busy due to modeling and her leisure activity, her first priority is always her family and friends. No matter what, she always finds time for her loved ones.
